We offer Multi-Level Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino Classes three times per week — Fridays and Sundays in San Francisco and Mondays in Oakland (see below for registration links). You can find our current schedule (including teachers) here.

Which level should you attend?

Level 1 classes are open to everyone, no previous experience or partner necessary, and we recommend everyone begin with Level 1, even if they have previous experience dancing. To take more intermediate and advanced classes, students must know all moves from the previous levels — for example to attend a Level 2 class, students must know ALL moves from Level 1. In-advance online registration is recommended (classes sometimes sell out). Regular group classes are offered on a sliding scale ($10, $15, or $20 per class — if you are able to pay full price it is much appreciated). Sliding scale is accessible via discount codes (see description in the links below).

The MNC has an open-air courtyard as well as a large indoor space with three sets of double doors that will be kept fully open to the courtyard — different levels will dance in different spaces. EVERY FRIDAY AT ODC, 7:30 - 8:30pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 1) — To register please visit the ODC website, then scroll down to the calendar and select the date and then the class. ODC is located at 351 Shotwell St, just a few blocks from the rest of our classes at MNC (362 Capp St.).

Alternate Location on Friday, March 15th — every 3rd Friday of the month we hold our classes and party at Mars Bar (798 Brannan St.).

Saturday Carnaval Rehearsals

12:00 - 2:00pm Rueda Con Ritmo Carnaval Rehearsal — register for the next rehearsal

LOCATION (varies by date): click here for updated rehearsal locations — due to rain, on April 13th we will be rehearsing in Oakland instead of our usual downtown SF location

This two-hour rehearsal is to prepare to dance in the SF Carnaval Parade on Sunday, May 26th. We will rehearse every Saturday beginning March 16th. In addition to weekly rehearsals, there is a separate parade fee of $40 — dancers also cover the cost of their own costumes (approximately $100).

FULL PACKAGE REGISTRATION: We are offering a couple of discounted options to make carnaval available to more people (though if you are able to pay the regular price it is much appreciated) — FULL PACKAGE — 75% PACKAGE — 50% PACKAGE
