RCR hosts a Cuban Dance Party every 1st Saturday of the month at Lake Merritt Dance in Oakland.

This month we are excited that there will be a special dance performance during the party — Or’s switch choreography!

We are offering three workshops this month. At 5:00pm Ryan will offer a Rhythm & Listening class . Then at 6:15pm Or will be offering a Rueda Dinámica class, a fun active style of rueda with lots of fast calls— dancers must be currently attending Level 3 or 4 to participate. Then at 7:30pm we offer a 1-on-1 social dancing Salsa-Casino class — intermediate/advanced taught this month by Eric Johnson as well as a beginning level (two separate levels taught in different rooms simultaneously).

At all of our monthly parties we celebrate the birthdays of everyone born in that month. Contact us in advance if your birthday is this month and we’ll put you on the guest list for the party (workshops not included, see below).
