Guajirón is an SF-based group that plays Cuban dance music, directed by longtime Bay Area dancer and RCR student Michael Terkowski. They play once per month at MNC every 2nd Friday after our weekly classes.

Before the live music we will offer our regular Friday night classes. Here's the complete schedule:

6:00 - 7:00pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 1) — register as a follower — register as a leader

6:00 - 7:00pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 3) — register as a follower — register as a leader

6:00 - 7:00pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 4) — register as a follower — register as a leader

7:15 - 8:15pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 2) — register as a follower — register as a leader

7:15 - 8:15pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 3) — register as a follower — register as a leader

7:15 - 8:15pm Cuban Salsa & Rueda (Level 4) — register as a follower — register as a leader

8:30pm — Dance party with Guajirón (free with any class but tips appreciated), otherwise $10 (cash or Venmo)

Registration for the above classes will open the previous Saturday (6 days before).

We will still be offering our regular 7:30pm class at ODC (as we do every Friday):

Rueda con Ritmo just came back from teaching and performing at the CubaSon festival in Mallorca. We're excited to share with you some of what we learned!

On Sunday, 12/14 Or will be hosting a workshop demonstrating what he learned in Mallorca on **Rueda Switch**, where leaders and followers exchange role mid song. To attend this workshop, you must have completed all of RCR L2 or equivalent as both a leader AND a follower.

These workshops, and all RCR classes, are offered on a sliding scale. When you check out, you can enter either 25OFF or 50OFF as codes to receive 25% or 50% discounts.

We’re back at Long Weekend Havana this Sunday, after Sidney’s Salsa Workout at MNC (12:30pm) and Or’s Switch Workshop (1:30 to 3:30pm) at MNC.

At least for this weekend, we will not be holding our regular L1 and L2 classes at MNC (Sidney’s Body Movement class WILL be happening at 12:30 at MNC). Depending on attendance, we are considering moving our Sunday classes to the Long Weekend Havana on an ongoing basis.
