Last summer, we had an amazing time teaching on the first Havana In Alaska Cuban-Style Salsa Cruise, and we are very excited to be participating again next summer. This past year the cruise was very well organized and attracted a wonderful group of people – friendly and very passionate about Cuban music and dance, from all over the country and beyond.

The cruise travels along Alaska's Inside Passage, with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world - pristine rain forests, snow-capped mountains, and spectacular glaciers. At each of the ports along our route there are opportunities for exciting adventures, exploring Alaska on foot, by train, in a kayak, and by helicopter or plane!

The cruise's dance package includes eight dance parties and 18 hours of workshops in Rueda, Cuban-style partnering, Afro-Cuban movement, and more, taught by some of the best instructors in the country. When we stop in Juneau, we will also participate in Alaska's biggest rueda.

Last year we were initially apprehensive about going on a cruise, having never taken one before, but we loved it! The staff was friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. We were able to enjoy the dancing, people, and scenery with everything else being taken care of by the cruise. Total relaxation!
