Rueda Con Ritmo Performance

Filmed at the San Francisco Rueda Festival. Choreography by Ryan Mead and Sidney Weaverling to an edited version of the live recording of "Jaque Mate" by Manolín "El Médico de la Salsa." The piece is a study in the dance version of the musical round, where for many sections all couples perform the same movement, but each is on a different beat, creating a wave-like effect called "La Ola."
